Cartesia Dx’s first product, Arthritis Imager™, addresses the lack of objective,
quantifiable diagnosis and monitoring of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). The system combines well established technologies
with a proprietary approach to create a new diagnostic metric that allows healthcare professionals to objectively
quantify the progression of RA.
The Arthritis Imager™ uses a unique combination of Thermal and 3D imaging technologies to derive quantitative indicators
to assess the severity of inflammation.
Existing technologies such as X-ray, MRI and Ultrasound have demonstrated significant deficiencies in the evaluation of
disease activity in RA. These technologies are either not economically viable, reproducible or user friendly.
